    Female? Pics included - thank you!

    Ive been working with seeds and could use help still. Please take a look at this photo. Its pointed preflowers make me think Female, but no pistil yet.

    How long can we keep these in pots. I feel badly that they are not in the ground yet.... can someone confirm if this is female-- many thanks.

      First post looks like a lady to me. The other two pics are hard to tell but look pretty boyish to these bad eyes.

        Parts are pointing up in the right direction - usually the telltale balls are hanging down - not up

          If you find the preflower on the end of a stalk/stem, is it male? I have one that looks a little male, and its on a stalk. is the stalk part of the give-away or tell for a male?

              If it looks like a tiny stalk/branch sticking out with an egg on the tip, it's a male. Female calyxes will hug the crotch of the plant.
