    What have I done wrong?

    #2
Weak and/or distant lighting has caused it to stretch. Replant it, bury most of that stalk, water far away from the stalk to prevent rot and get it under stronger light.

You had your light to far away. Easy to fix, when you transplant bury it damn near to the leaves.
Cfls for a week or two

Dug up Ms.topsoil, with perlite added

Your stretching problem has been addressed. Also think moist, light, airy, well draining medium. Not wet. Good luck Tojo.

Surprisingly you have done very well indeed, as most growers can't see the advantage of a stretched plant

even if you don't plant it outside burying all that stem up to the cotleydons will ensure roots lots of roots will emerge from that stem even under 2 weeks

the same with planting outside is the speed in which she will 'catch on'

            good luck
