    Autoflowers - full strength nutrients

Thought I would try something different with my current grow - started around March 27 then the other 2 about April 1 - Purple Stilton

Instead of pampering them with half-strength nutes - I decided to go full strength nutes right from the start. Although the first watering to run-off was just a smattering of nutes. After they dried out it's been full strength nutes. I water as follows nutes/nutes/tea blend.

I am using Green Planet nutes with their Pro/Cal.

Noticed a difference right away as they grew. Topped them all at the sixth node - although the tallest one I think I missed and fimmed it instead as it has colas coming out of the middle.
    Sizes are from the soil up - 22 - 25 - 38 inches tall.

So for those growers that want to give their plants lots of nutrients - I guess some of the equation one has to factor in what kind of nutes one is using. My nutes work great. Used to use General Hydroponics but listened to a number of growers that dismiss GH and Advanced Nutrients as third rate.

No big problems to date with this grow - but i'm sure i'll make a mistake sometime - although the tent is filling up nice.

Actually me too - I tried GH nutes at full strength and got burnt ends and the plants showed their dislike by slowing down - with these nutes I'm using the plants are really taking off - 1 especially.

I use GH cal-mag with advanced nutrients Voodoo on my and I have no problem. But all the rest of my stuff is CANNA. Love the brand.
    It’s a good experiment.

I concur with Gh being shit. The micro is the only one that’s worth buying but I had to make my own nutrients at the end. Some MKP , Epsom salts and potassium sulfite, pretty easy and cheap. Making the micro is a bit harder so I’m waiting to dial in other nutrients before messing with the trace minerals

Great comment - If I was a newbie I would be asking for that recipe - Green Planet Nutes I buy are $15 a bottle.

there is no recipe, you just need to know how much of something increases the ppm of what nutrient. for this i have an excel calculator that absolutely everybody should have. knowing this you just put the nutrients in water and disolve. there is some math involved but you could aim for that green planet ratio and make 3 gallons of nutrients for the same 15 bucks

Day 19 for these girls - oops - looks like they each lost a couple leaves - I'll explain -

No topping for these plants - nodes are too close together and she is not growing vertically enough for me taking out the top. So I'll just strategically remove certain fan leaves at certain times - time being now when they are young. I'll have 8 colas growing up alongside the main cola when i am done.

Just like to grow autoflowers sometimes the way they want to grow - albeit my use of my scissors.

They are keeping good up with those amount of nutrients after all 😎👍🏻 Some is clawing a little bit, but not the biggest problem 👍🏻 Awesome job

Clawing is probably cuz they really don't like the bloom light on when they are young - almost grown out of it now.
