    Taproot in a U shape

I have a blueberry Girl Scout Cookies seed that is germinating now, but the tip of the taproot is stuck in the seed and the middle of it is coming out of the seed. Basically, the taproot is sticking out of the seed in a ‘U’ shape.

Can I plant it like this, or should I wait until it is not in a ‘U’ shape anymore?

Wait 'till the root gets a bit longer. Keep it damp.

Were it mine, it would be buried in my moist seedling soil mix.

Thank for the replies. I will plan on waiting a day or two for the root to get longer, but can I still plant it if the root stays in this U shape and the end never completely comes out? (Will it still be able to grow into a healthy plant?)

If the root won't come out of the shell, then I think it will die.
