    Started Grow #12 on 04/02/2020

O.K. Grow #11 is under my belt (I harvested my one Indica plant at end of week 10 but have five Sativa plants still to harvest in 2-3 weeks and the last two at the end of five weeks and close to end of Sativa flower window) I started Grow #12 on April 2, 2020. As of the 5th (which is tomorrow) these will be 4 weeks OR 1 month into the vegetation cycle. These got topped 2 days before being 3 weeks old and grew out real fast. These all look like they will be Indica by the way the leaves are short and fat. These are ready to be transplanted again into 3 gallon pots and LST will then begin. Again, using Fox Farms Ocean Forest they have had to date only 1 nutrient feeding (at the end of 30 days for the Fox Farms soil being used) to this point and I have another month in veg before transition week. I may give them 1 more Veg feeding at beginning of week 6 IF THEY NEED IT and depending on how they look. IF they don't, I will wait to the beginning of week 9 in veg to transition over to the flowering cycle. I don't like to use a lot of nutrients since I found out this last grow that "Less is Better" and I see the results of that in this last grow, plus I try to keep as "organic" as possible so I have clean weed at the end.

I will try to keep up with this post as time goes by to show stages of growth and flowering until the end of this growing season, we'll have to just wait and see... 1st pic is of the tallest ones, the middle pic are the shortest ones, and the last pic is the "middle in size" plants. I do separate them by height and go tallest to the shortest under the lights. Usually tall ones indicate that it is possible it is a male plant, but not necessarily true. I have had tall females ended up being sativa, but this one has Indica leaves so it possibly could be a male. Have to wait and see...

Those yellow things? Sticky traps for those pesky fungus gnats.

These are under a shop light that hold 4 t8 tubes at 6500k and are approximately 3 inches from the tops of the plants, except for the small ones as it is kinda hard to slant the light at the right angle to the height of the plants from tall to short.

I'd call my self the T8/ T5 grower of all time ..lol

right now if these were mine I'd pot up to the next size pot and include 25% perlite in the soil to improve drainage
with T8/T5 grows you gotta be careful with water as these lights burn very cold
do note the extra color (green) so the nutes working well

look to the shape these are growing horizontal due to the color/kelvin of the lights you use (cool whites)
swap them out for warm whites(2700k) that will stimulate the hormones to develop stem growth (height)
as T8 lights are so cheap imo/ blow another $9.00 and get another
strap them to your current light perhaps on a counterweight include a small 6" fan

as the plants grow check and raise the lights daily one link at a time, keep the lights close
right down to half an inch from the leaf tip
in truth flouros are crap for weed the light tho very cheap and ample is only good for seedling 3-4 inches

knowing that its a good idea to blow cash on a great flowering LED/hps light

if not you gotta do some strange shit to get that bud ..lol

like once you hit 12x12 remove all leaf and stalk matter from about 8 inches from the top down
really only leaving a few colas ..its hard but hey T8's Light/photons don't reach that far (about 4 inches max)

beside the waste makes great clones to keep the factory running ..lol

use simple office tubes forget expensive crappy pink? grow lights they are a rip

gnats due to too much water avoid overwatering and lay uncooked french fries
n the soil ..worms will come to eat the fries.. not the roots
    remove worms daily

    good luck

sorry for my english most was done on google thing

You are just about on target! I am planning to transplant this week-end because I need to start doing my LST and defoliation to the bottoms before I get to flower. I use 6500k all through veg cycle, then I go 2700k all through flower. Check my response. Here is my last grow under t8's. These are 10 1/2 weeks old. I am very simple, small bedroom, ceiling fan, lights. that's it. Don't need all that extra equipment.

t8's, how good can they be? I have 4 shop lights, each hold 4 tubes = 16 tubes total. My current grow... Click image for larger version
