    Tangerine dream

Just wanted to share something I had not seen in any grows over had or plants I should say. These plants are growing with one growth top per node with just one can leaf as well. Am I tripping or did I get some mutant plants? Or maybe so body has grown this strain and had similar growing plants? It’s Tangerine Dream from Barney’s seeds. It’s happening on all 3 of them. First one was a tri leaf and they seemed to be growing normal but I went to defoliate and realized wtf they are growing a bit different than I’m used to lol what do you guys think. Don’t know why my pics get turned sideways or upside down?

Here are before defoliating and after. The big one is the only one defoliated the other 2 are left alone because they are not growing as big as the single plant. Also the big one is starting to do the single tip and leaf on the nodes? Weird but growing healthy. Took clones from it they all had regular growth..

Those staggered nodes look like clones, not plants from seed.

This is my two cents for what it’s worth...I’ve been growing a long time, 15 plus years from my own clones or bag seed because I just didn’t have the nerve to order seeds online until recently. I’m currently growing 4 plants from Barney’s seeds, 2 Dos Si Dos and 2 Blue Cheese. Out of the 4, only one of the Dos Si Dos hasn’t looked f’d up! The 2nd Dos Si Dos started off all goofy but has since corrected itself and looks normal now, just 1/2 the size as the other one. Both a Blue Cheese plants are over a month old, one has 3 leaves and ya about 1.5” tall, the other one is finally looking somewhat normal although it has 5 nodes and they’re all single serrated leaves, that’s it. When ILGM has their 420 sale going I couldn’t resist ordering more seeds so I ordered Bruce Banner, California Dream, Banana Kush and Gorilla Glue Auto from them and all of their sprouts cane up looking normal and healthy. I guess my point is I’ll never order seeds from Barney’s Farm again.

Yeah from the 5 seeds I got from them all Tangerine dream the 3 I popped are these here and I’m not too excited about them. I was happy for the big one but then the single tip with single leaf happened. Oh well hope it turns out good in the end. No more Barney’s farm for me either.

Yea their seeds come in nice packaging but that’s the only nice part IMO. ILGM seeds come in a dime bag but they’re growing like normal and if you research online seed banks they’re always listed in the top 5. Plus they always have seeds in stock. Give them a try next time

I have seen males do this (single nodes and stretch between them) to get taller than the females, then later the females also go single nodes.

Damn well I hope these aren’t males because I’m going to be pissed off for sure. Specially since I already cut 10 clones since I like how it was growing till I realized the single tips. Plus I order females always.

It does not mean it is male absolutely, just I see males do this first. All of my clones are single node.

I've got two BF seedlings: Acapulco Gold and Laughing Buddha growing normally. I'll keep an eye on them for sure. I do have some Granddaddy Purple clones from ILGM that aren't doing single fan leaves and nodes, but they are doing them a bit staggered. That is, there are two fan leaves and two nodes but they are about one or two cm apart on the stem. I didn't notice until after I topped them. You'd do well to contact Barney's Farm customer service about the mutants and see what they do to make it right.

I've had male autos that were suppose to be fems. They were from legit seed broker but shit happens it was a pisser. I got 2 of the same seed batch i'm starting now autos same pkg. just wanted to get rid of them not sure if these will be fems or not but we'll see. Not impressed with the strain at all very weak seed. Won't mention breeder just was 3rd party seller seed broker.
