Last year was going GREAT, until we had two weeks of rain with no sunlight right before harvest. My beautiful plants became very moldy. I was able to harvest maybe 25% of my plants. Can I grow in this same area again, this year without mold problems (unless the rain happens again)? Thanks for your help!

A good wipe with a splash of bleach (if you can find it these days lol) on a wet washcloth will kill any left over spores but wont address a the real problem- circulation. I'm reminded of Gallager.... He was cleaning the grout in his shower.... reads the cleaner label- only use in well ventilated areas. "Well if it was well ventilated there wouldn't BE any mildew now would there!?!?!"

We call those 'big TP" around here lol.
I got a light that about 5 mos ago hung in a room that had spider mites & I'm afeared to bring it in the house.

JDU in that case... pour some 190 Everclear into a spray bottle and spray a fine mist in it. Open any covers and go for it....let it dry... done. I bought a mini hydraulic pump in the beginning of this virus shit and when it was delivered from China. I let it sit in my driveway for 1 day after spraying it... the gloved and plastic bag over my clothes, I opened the box sprayed the inner box and removed the 15” high pump and cables. Took the pump and placed it on the hood of my tractor and sprayed about 16 oz of Everclear all over it...everywhere over the course of an hour. Let it dry each time...I sprayed vents, hoses, controls, motor, wires controls. Give you an idea, you likely wouldn’t wash your car this good... once it drie in the sun a few hrs...plugged it in and it runs great. Been in my “laboratory’ for 7 weeks.
Any alcohol like isopropyl or ethanol over 65% will work but I choose to blow up a gopher hole with a cannon

Ahhh...... gotcha.
colscott if I understood this time the mold you're referring to is bud rot- it rained on yer buds & they molded. I'm sure the site & soil is fine. My neighbor lost his harvest the same way last year. We are building him a hightunnel this year.

Can you grow there, yes you can however you may have to fight mold again. Can you clear around them so they get good airflow? And trim the plants so they have no leaf or bud site within 18" of the ground? Can you add a fan (yes outside) for more air circulation?
Its pricey but "Trifecta Crop Control" is good, natural said to be safe to harvest. I will say it added no flavor I could tell to my plants last year. I fought mold and bud rot last year, I moved the garden for this year..
