this all may sound dumb but im new and struggling.
ive annexed my back bedroom for growing (I blocked the heater for this room) .. I have a 5x5 grow tent.
I use a 6in inline intake and exhaust fan that continually runs. I also have a 4in intake and exhaust system that is on a temp sensor to kick in if it gets too hot.
I pump all my fresh air in from the window and exhaust it from the window as well (I made sure there is enough space so the intake isn't pulling in the exhaust.)
my dehumidifier is inside the tent free standing.
ive had humidity issues since day 1.. when the lights are on, everything is perfect! 78f and 40% humidity.
when the lights go off the issues begin.. currently the dehumidifier is working to keep the humidity below 45% but the air exhausting from it is hot and causes the room to get to 81F and the sensor to go off to pull in more air. ideally my night time climate is 40% humidity and 70F
should I build an exhaust system for the dehumidifier so the air exhausts out of the tent?
