    Lifespan of a mite?

Son in law sent me home with a new light. I see some dead ladybugs so I find out he had spidermites about 5mos ago. Is this light safe to take into my house?
I know that ladybugs won't help-. I just wanna know how long an infestation can live & propagate without any plant matter to feed on.

I'd treat that thing like the corona virus........It would be blasted with everything in my arsenal..Bug killer, spray 9, alcohol spray, then sit outside for a month, then spray it again....roast it over a fire , then inspect it real good. I want nothing to do with spidermites! lol

I dont think there will be anything alive left on it, toss in the car out in the sunshine for a day or 2.

Once had an exotic long hair cat that had a few fleas... the vet said comb it and keep a damp tissue with rubbing alcohol on it to wipe the comb on...the fleas died instantly. For 25 years now if I ever have a question about living bugs... BAM..! Alcohol. Now that alcohol is impossible to find, I poured a little Everclear 190 into a spray bottle ..just in case Big difference though. 91% alcohol was 89 cent a bottle, Everclear 190 is $36.00 a half gallon ... and that homemade hand sanitizer thing...works great. 2 part Everclear190 1 parts Aloe Vera Gel
