    HELP! weird discolouration on leaves

don't know if I'm being paranoid on this but it's my second grow so I don't have much experience to draw on...noticed yesterday what seems to be a strange discolouration on the edges of 2 or 3 young leaves...my first thought was light burn since the affected leaves are at the top of the plant but none of the surrounding leaves at the top seem to be affected...my second thought was WPM but it doesn't look like white floury patches as described in GWE (plus air is circulating well)...she's in coco, watered yesterday, temps about 78-80° F., RH about 50%. the best way I could describe the spots is they kinda look like the "flocked" covering you see on air mattresses, etc. (not powdery). I also thought it might be just trichome coverage starting (3 weeks into autoflower) but I really don't know...any thoughts appreciated!

Is that dog hair or...I hope not spider mites. I have to keep my dog, somewhere else when I work on my plants. In the past I've been smoking and when I break apart my buds I'm pulling hairs out as I break them up. It was a pain. And even worse when you miss some and smoke hairy joint, no fun. I don't see much on the leaves aside from crystal forming, I would keep an eye on it daily for changes.

Does it come off when you brush it with your finger? It almost looks like something foreign just sittin on the leaf

Jordann, that is kinda what it looks like, some really fine crystal deposit...wtf? I tried scrubbing at it with a wet q-tip, JDU , it seemed to remove a little bit of the whatever it is but not much...I'm really hoping for light burn from the viparspectra but I don't know...

Hoping it's just naturally caused. Check under the leaves really well to see if there could be any bugs there. If it's mould it will get more noticeable as the days go on

I'm wondering at this point if they might be eggs (ick!) of some kind or maybe white aphid nymphs...plan on doing some defoliating tomorrow anyway and I'll likely spray them with water then Safer's soap...

sprayed with Safer's soap, looks like it burnt the budlets, pistils are brownish and look burnt. lesson learned. will baby her along and hope the damage is not irreversible
