    Greensand!

    all caps.

    i heard good things!

there is a ways to go before any semblence of thaw is forseeable here but i am thinking about prepping my outdoor space that will feature some seeds i ended up with from previous indoor grows, along with a bunch of veggies.

whats the deal with sourcing greensand.. is the filter medium the same item sold as potting fortifant?

    is fortifant a word? fortifier?

IDK, but I would not think them to be the same
Also called "glauconite," greensand is a material from the ocean floor that is mined to be used as a soil conditioner or fertilizer. It has a bluish-green color and is made of marine potash, silica, iron oxide, magnesia, lime, phosphoric acid, and about 30 other trace minerals.

I have used a water filter / softener that used green sand ...it work marginally .... replaced that with a conventional water softener and carbon tank. Obviously it has good drainage
