Howdy fellow Growers,
I just finished the harvesting (and jarring) of My ninth DWC grow. I used two six gallon reservoirs *10 gallon totes, Bubbleponics style) starting with five hermied (nanner'ed) seeds from previous grows (XII and IX) in each reservoir. Reservoir R1 had the seeds from XI and R2 had the seeds from IIX. All were feed GH MaxiGrow and MaxiBloom with the supplements Liquid KoolBloom, Floralicious Plus, Armor Si, Diamond Nector, FloraNector, and dry KoolBloom (first time to use this supplement). I applied the nutrients at the rate listed on GH feeding schedule for the Maxi series in a recirculating system as listed on their web site. I also used FloraShield at the rate of 1.5 ml per gallon as an inoculant against unwanted organism growth. I finished the grow with FloraKleen at the flush.
At the end, only two plants finished in R1 and one in R2 due to either defective seed, root damage from too high of a water level (what happens when One gets over confidant!), or possibly 'shaded out' by the larger plants. Either way, here are the final weights:
R1 - BUD, 216.8 g / 7.631 oz., TRIM, 167.1 g, 6.846 oz.
R2 - BUD, 199.8 g, 7.033 oz., TRIM, 111.0 g, 3.907 oz.
I am a little disappointed with the final turnout, but I did intentionally subject the plants to some moderate heat and light stress to get them to produce some seeds. On my last grow (keeping cool temps and no light leaks) I only got a few immature looking seeds. So far, during the drying and jarring, I have already found four mature seeds from R1 and two from R2. I am very happy with the quality of the bud, even before the curing.
Good luck to all of My fellow growers.
