Medical strains for anxiety

I deal whit anxiety from a combat situation. I served in Iraq as a Military police officer, out on patrols etc. so i have been in search of some good strains as well, i have found Kandy kush is a good one to combat depression and anxiety highly. Having PTSD combined with OCD and Panic disorder, i need a regular that will allow me to function and yet remain calm. I have found a few others but i forgot their name as i was feeling so much better from the anxiety.
I would love to hear the oppresses as we both are in search of these strains. Soon enough i am going to start doing trial runs of testing each strain and giving a full report on how each strain effects the body and allows symptoms to subdue. now their are tons of strians out their, so help from others is needed. let me know what you find out as well thanks. also try LSD (drug name) spouses to relax the body, while at the same time it gives the body a energy high, its mostly a Indica. satevias i found out only cause my panic disorder to amplify more then needed in which i need to take an edible or smoke indica.
also look into wax, CBD dominant as this will help reach stress that cause anxiety to rise. given the strain of course, i ran into a very rare wax that came from a plant that i wish i could remember or get my hands onto, something blue and not blue dream.

I really want to thank everyone who has contributed to this post, especially those who have opened up and shared their experiences with anxiety and depression. There are alot of good people on this forum and I am thankful to be part of it. I have seen my wife suffer from fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety for years, it's horrible and I guess I really didn't know that so many others have similar battles they fight. Her Dr recently got spooked ( in my opinion) because she asked him to increase her xanax, so he cut her off, cold turkey!!! What a bastard! I had hoped marijuana would help. In addition to trying some of the strains you all suggested I'm going to let one plant in my current grow turn amber.
The Doctors, around here are all controlled by corperations. Here it's Genesis health care and I despise them. If you owe say 50 bucks, Genesis locks your account at your doctor and he cannot access it until you pay up! Then you watcb tv and every other commercial is some big pharmaceutical company begging you to ask your Dr for some new drug. I myself have quit my depression med and my xanax, marijuana has allowed me to do that. I give my wife my Xanax to help alleviate her anxiety while she slowly wean herself off. Anyway I am rambling now, but I want to thank you all!!!

Thank YOU, Joker; all of this information is helpful to all of us!!! It's just a pathetic thing that health care has turned into in many places--run like corporations, increasingly impersonal and rushed, horribly alienating experiences for many of us. Unbelievable what the doc did to your wife, but it's similar to what insomniaczzz has gone through with her husband and "punishments" doctors dole out if they find THC in urine... They're like Nazi doctors anymore, not really knowing how their experiments will go, but doing them anyway. WHICH IS WHY WE NEED TO KEEP FIGHTING THIS GOOD FIGHT FOR THE MEDICINE WE TRUST!!!!!

hey guys!!! my name says it all HAHAHA.....i have paralyzing anxiety, that has cost me jobs in the past. there are even alot of strains i cant touch....Chemdawg being one of them....the best strains ive personally had for anxiety, when the heart is pounding and the face and hands are tingling are CBD Supreme Durban from Nirvana seeds, Kosher Kush, Platinum Girl Scout cookies, Snow White from nirvana seeds....the CBD Surpeme Durban is the best and i smoke this 4 to 5 X a week. it has a ratio of 1:1 THC TO CBD so theres enough THC to give some euphoria but the CBD counter acts all negative affects. like racy heart and paranoia

I found Fast Buds 6 Shooter Auto really really helpful....properly cured though instead of the crap on the streets here. It is a tad strong but it really stabilised me....I `ve just been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder....Gods but I love that expression ....and I can have really bad periods/ symptoms. 6 Shooter was something I tried during one attack...panic attacks, anxiety, etc and by fluke I found it to be highly effective....it was a 50/50 clear/milky grow...no real ambers...so uplifting, positive feel

Yes, they just love to slap labels on folks... I got diagnosed with an SMI (serious mental illness) once for long-term depression, but then I realized, I'M NOT THE CRAZY ONE HERE!!! JEFF SESSIONS IS!!!!!!! Of course, this was long before Jeff Sessions, but I really did come to realize that the really crazy ones who do so much damage in this world generally don't get diagnosed. How I see it, I'd rather be ME than anyone else I know... But I do know who the really crazy mofos are...

Another note on strains and my tincture "word salad"
as you know Sativas can offer up some serious "racing thoughts". One reason I quit weed was because of that. I hate racing thoughts. However my very first grows were Sativas AND because of GWE I found the value of proper dry/cure for at least 2- 3 months. My tinctures ( Sativa) make me up, energetic, happy ( unless someone try's to make me their circular file).
Indicas I still cure the distance...
not as romantic as smoking a joint, a bong, an apple BUT a way to carefully medicate / titrate ones needs away from edibles that can overwhelm one.
and prepared right stores beautifully in the freezer. A little brown bottle to go with...great.
HOWEVER I DO SUGGEST having some double cream Brie cheese available at the sublingual titration as it burns a little. So you do a little dance , eat a bite and hit your happy day.
i wish all of you a bright & productive day

Forgive me for repeating myself, but well over a decade ago, I got the label of SMI (Serious Mental Illness) slapped on me for chronic depression/anxiety. The therapist said that she could change it if I wanted, but that that "diagnosis" would get me a better insurance rate; so I let it ride.
But the longer I have thought about it, the more it has become a kind of liberator for me. I started realizing that I wasn't the crazy one with a serious mental illness in this world: that the people who don't care at all about anyone but themselves, or the people who run corporations like VW and big pharma like DingusKhan mentions, who don't follow the rules, who do whatever they have to do in order to increase profits, the people who charge outrageous, obscene amounts of money for their pills, all the people with hatred in their hearts--those are the ones with SMIs.
Maybe that's the human condition for a lot of people, just as depression/anxiety may be the human condition for those of us who have posted on this thread. I would never, ever change places with those other folks. I embrace my own human condition, and I have to tell each and every one of you: we aren't perfect, but we are actually pretty fanfuckintastic people with excellent hearts.Anyone can grow schwag.
