    Only Six Weeks Old!

Well, I started a thread earlier concerning dirt and nutrients. So for those who have followed me, here are my results up to this date. Got four more weeks to go before harvest time!!!

I also have noticed since last week that some of the hairs are now starting to change color, nice cherry red color...

Darn it! Today I noticed one of my babies either has a little nute burn or possibly the lights needed to be moved up, and it has been plain watered since I fed it seven days ago. I don't think it's that bad, but I am trying to get the best from the least

I should have waited another week before I fed it this last time, too soon between feedings??? (2 weeks) is the only thing I can think of. And they are so nice right now; it didn't seem to bother my other ones so I know the amount was right. All of them get watered the same amount, and I just plain watered them yesterday so I don't think it will do any damage as I got less than 4 weeks to harvest. My other option is to skip the last flowering nutes watering I had planned to do between week seven and eight of flower (I harvest at ten weeks for Sativa) from there plain water and molasses like I have done (no flushing required!). So altogether for this grow I used veg nutes twice in 8 weeks during veg and 3 flowering nutes feedings in the last 10 weeks of flower. "They say less is better, we shall see!"

NuggetMan If you go to the plant problems section of GWE there is a picture of your leaf. It says potassium deficiency or sunburn and explains it all to you. It also explains some of your plants stretchyness.

I did look at that and I can't figure where that particular deficiency came from but thank you and will look into this issue to take care of it. I am going to look at the stuff I use to see if it has this or not, or find what I need to correct this. I do not have the yellowing issue with my leaves so I think that would eliminate potassium deficiency, so it's either burnt or lights, at least what I think and what I can see... My stretchers, I have no clue what they are but they are distinctly different from the others and definitely Sativa. I have had tall plants in the past, I just tied them down, these I did not do that. From the git go, they looked like clones when they first started up and these were from real old seeds I had.

Look like they could do with getting rid of some of the larger fan leaves. It’ll expose the buds further down the plant to more light/air

I did do some defoliation earlier when they first started to flower and as long as I can see light I leave them alone, if it's dark or no light then that is what I target to remove. Not much into defoliation but am learning as I go... Thank for your concern, appreciate it.

So now I am into week 7 of flower, adjusted my lights a little higher than usual (about 3-6 inches away from the top of the plants is what I normally do as I use t5 flourecent tubes) and they seem to be doing very well at this point. The discoloration I had described earlier has not spread and has pretty much stayed the same so minimal damage done. I think I should have used a lesser amount of beastie bloomz on the 2nd feeding because after this is when I noticed the discoloration and only on 2 plants, the others are good to go., possibly too much potassium??? So I am going to skip the last flowering nutes feeding and go to water and molasses only as I have less than 3 weeks left before harvest. Will be keeping an eye on the trichomes!!!
