I can't see said beastie but my issue with them is the suggested prey item that attracted in the first place.

It's small right where pots are together. Not sure what it's hunting. Couple days ago there were a few tiny tiny flying specks ,looked like dust floating.

I love my spiders in the basement, they help me if I did have bugs. Good to see you're the same Jibblerjoe.

I have no problem with spiders hanging around. Have even seen the odd ladybug when I was growing outside.

Lots of cobwebs from daddy long legs around my grow area. I consider them friends for trapping undesirable fungus knats that may be thinking about my grow medium! 🐸

Personally, I have never had any difficulty with spiders. On the contrary, I noticed that if they are not there, then the harvest is bad. It’s like they’re working while I’m sleeping. I also read an essay about Nature versus Nature by Michael McDowell https://phdessay.com/free-essays-on/nature-vs-nurture/ where it is described that nature itself is a self-absorbing environment in which everything tends to die for the sake of life, this is very curious paradox.

Many spiders are good, yet some like Black Widows or Fiddle Backs (I have both) I dont want hanging 'roun' my girls. Those Grand Daddy Long Legs can stay.
