Ok y’all. I have been trying to communicate via pm to several members that have expressed the desire to trade seeds. I have communicated what I have to trade, what I’m looking for, and asked those interested in trading how they want to proceed. No responses. So, I don’t know if they are receiving my pm or not. I just don’t know one way or another. I have revealed personal info in pm that I now wish to delete because of lack of responses. I know those parties are active in the forum because they are still posting. Does anyone know how I can delete private messages? Thanks for your help. Korn

Korn I had some big issues with my account to the point that I had to create another... at one point, it was like being a perennial guest with no option for any participation. Sirius had it looked into with the web developer and it took about 3 weeks to get corrected. My issue still....PM’s

Thank you for sharing your experience Farmall. Sorry about your troubles but at least I know I’m not going crazy or senile. I’m getting some pm from other members but some are failing to go through with certain members. Not sure what is going on. At first I thought the members were choosing not to respond. But with further prodding and investigation we discovered that the pm that I sent were not being received at all by my recipients.Last edited by Korn; 03-15-2020, 06:19 AM.

Korn Well, that’s better than reaching out and being ignored.... I realize there are times when tech errors are typically not as prevalent and human nature is the failing component. This may be clearly different.
How many times I have tried to organize something with amazing gung ho support yet when it’s time to pull the trigger (so to speak) I wonder where they all went!

In my opinion: the discourse option is nice... but NebulaHaze and SiriusFourside created the site and it has successfully grown where it is a globally recognized authority. All of the active forum members enjoy the camaraderie and information shared as well as the teasing, joking and ball busting that goes on in the realm of entertainment... surely keeps me going.
I have never actually put up a website. The discourse demo did however open my eyes a little when I saw the pricing structure. And it’s not a simple 1 time fee.. it’s monthly over and over and , well you get the idea. Frankly, they sell nothing, Charge nothing and only ask for mutual respect of others... you can even write words like shit, fuck and asshole with no repercutions, unless you’re directing them towards me 🧐
I’ve seen several forums where there are banner ads across the top to help defray the costs of operations.... what’s our thought should that need to become a necessity? And No, I don’t know or work for anyone involved...just thinking out loud as I usually do. Smart Asses can do that easily... (relax, just kidding)

Look at what has changed on YouTube.... they rob 5-15 seconds before some videos will start, ask you for surveys and midway thru some stuff, an ad pops up. The way to eliminate those ads is a paid subscription or stay away...of course they are a commercial operation anyway. The original concept is long gone
