    Chop chop

36 unsexed babies lost their heads today. Most will have 4 arms and some will have 6. Waiting on the soil to get nice and dry and they will get their first lite feeding, I'm sure they will be temporarily stunted but that's what I need. When do you fine people chop the top and when do you start feeding. Just looking for everyone's differing opinions. Branches will be tied down as soon as possible, likely while still in Solo cups. Going to switch lighting in a week or 2 so I can make some room. Get rid of the guys. Only need a few days of 12 12 to show. On another note this guy in the beer bottle will have been there for a month now Wich changed nuted water weekly. Has started to bud. Just an experiment with a topped female..
Vegging 4 aurora indica, waiting on seeds. Got eyes on a 4x8x8 tent.
    sp150x2 philz330 and Philz 100x2
    4 plants currently under 500w
    2 x opulent systems 4x4x80 tents and a 24x40x48 baby box.
GH full line of nutes+calmag and my molasses sugar brown sugar liquid mix at 30ml per liter.
    Happy growing/consuming 🥴

I normally top mine between the 4-5nodes, sometimes 6th. But everyone does things differently.
I grow in living soil, so I don't add nutrients. if your in pretty decent soil like Fox farms, you can go a couple of weeks before you need to start feeding.
Very nice healthy colored plants you got there, good luck with them.
Cfls for a week or two
    315lec for everything else
Dug up Ms.topsoil, with perlite added
    36x36x63 inch tent.
6inch - exaust - intake fans an scrubber
    Smart pots
    Molasses
    Autoflowers

Isnt it abit early for topping mate??? You should atleast wait for em to get 15cm and 4-5 nodes minimum. I usally dont count the bottom nodes... You can do that to clones but when you top em so early on seeds you give them alot of stress as well.

Btw, i noticed you are using plastic cups. Did you remember to burn a coupple of holes in the bottom? I know its close to impossible to use a tool and stick holes in those... use a philiph screw driver, but first warm it up with a lighter then burn holes in the bottom... a tip for next time bud

I use scissors and cut strips out of the bottom of the cups. I'm trying to keep them small enough to hold off on getting them outside and need my tents to flower and send the veg into flower. I'll post a pic of the cups I cut show you what I mean...

When they get abit bigger if I need more air in the mix I use a soldering iron to burn holes in the bottom couple inches of the cup. And yes the roots are coming from the bottom already. They will be root bound by the time I can transplant them but they'll be fed atleast. I use my own mix of soil.

Nah, I think i saw you mentioned it earlyer when you displayed the roots on one specimen.
May i ask how many of them are you planing to keep and in what enviroment? How big is your total flowering space and how many W?

              Looks realllly crowded

My best estimate is 5/6 plants with a 120*120cm tent and a 600w... or 4/5 in a 90/100*100cm with a 400w... everything else gets to crowded and your girls have to fight for space and light...
You have to know that you DONT get more yeld with more plants... The yeld dont ever count on how many plants, its ONLY equal to sq ft/m2 devided by Watt

4x4x80 for flower 4x4x60 for veg. I forget the measurements of the box I built for those 36 babies but they're not sexed yet so we'll see what I have left after I throw out the males. I have another 24x36 tent coming in to put on-top of the box with the babies in it. Box is 34 inch high and a tent will be on top. When summer comes the excess will go outside. I have an uninsulated back porch that I can quarter off a 6x6 section and insulate it for next winter but that's a whole other level. Can't keep up with the room I had before I moved but I'm getting close right now. Always adding on here and there.

It should work out where these can go into the 2 4x4s and flower at the same time if I play my cards right

I use metric... 4 by 4.. its ft right not inches...hehe... so its a 120 by 120... then 8 dosent sound bad at all, guess you are applying 600w then
Didnt catch that you have a tent for veg/sexing

Give or take between 6 and 7 hundred in the flower and 5 to 6 hundred in the veg...10 23 watt CFLs and a 100 watt LED in the little box. Yea 120x120 here in Canada but with all the carpentry I've gotten stuck to standard measurements lol. They will be sexed before they leave the small box. Save all my energy for the females.
