I'm doing it now in a veg tent do to low temps on outdoor porch. It's full of clones. But yes many auto growers do 24hr I've always done 18/6 both for auto and photo. Good Luck

If it's not a flowering photo I try to keep the lights on 24 hours a day.

I don't bother. The electric bill gets a rest when I go 18/6 and that's really all auto's need anyway, assuming the light you are using is a good quality full spectrum.
I hope there is an afterlife...there are a lot of friends and family I'd like to see again, one day.

In my dirt days, I never gave the veg more than 20 hours a day until flowering with 12/12... whether its a fact or not, I do think it helps for them to rest a bit.
Growing auto now I still stay at 22/2, helps keep the temps down and I still think they need a little rest. This is just my opinion on this, but it has been working

I like 16 8 for my plants and never slowed me down abit. With HPS but now I'm using LED and up to 18 6 just to give em abit more light.

My tent outdoors is doing 24-7 only because my flower tent has no room and it's on 12/12 for photos. If I shut the lights off outdoors then it's too cold at least during the p.m. but I have turned it off for 2hrs during 60f day temps. They are all clones and teens right now, not the best setup but it's working to keep them alive.
