    Fan Air Burn?

Greetings folks....I seem to have a memory of reading something by Nebula about air fans too close producing effects of burnt like leaves which can be mistaken for other leaf symptoms. Could someone add clarification please? Am I correct or did I just dream this?

Very true...I've experienced it recently on last tent grow..had a couple nugs that were in front of fan...could not be avoided...hairs and leaves looked twisted and resembled a burn of sorts...they really looked rough...looked being key word....did not affect quality of those couple buds....

First grow I had six plants and my fan was oscillating. It burned a few colas. This time I grew five plants and had the fan facing a wall not oscillating. Seems6to have fixed the issue fit me. It also did not seem to hurt my harvest.

Too much wind, especially with low humidity, will dry out or 'burn' not only the buds, but the leaves also. I've had leaves too close to the fan before and they wind up looking like kale, all wrinkly and kind of crispy looking. I use a two speed oscillating fan (set on the low setting) and it still produces some wind burn damage on some of the leaves, but you need to circulate the air, so what are you going to do?
