Can tip burn be corrected on an established, soil, “organic” grow?

Hello everybody, new member here and first time grower. Thanks to the people and GWE for allowing me to be a part of the community and for giving me the knowledge to get this far.

I have two auto’s going, one is a Hindu Kush and the other is a Tangerine Dream. Both are around a month old, showing pistils, and look pretty darn healthy. The HK is awesome with no apparent problems. The TD is now showing slight tip burn on all new growth but not on established leaves. I’d like to fix this soon if possible (and as recommended by you guys) but I’m thinking I may just have to let her grow out of it.

    Details:

indoor grow, organic potting mix with nature’s living soil (probably added too much), perlite and 5 gallon hard containers, fluffy and well draining
    72F to 80F and 42% to 58% RH
    (2) UFO style LED @ 30” height and (2) warm colored CFL’s close to new growth sites
no training other than tucking in fan leaves
Transplants from solo cups, no further nutrients added
plants seem happy with the watering schedule
PH of soil 6.5 to 7.0 with my big-box-store powder type test kit
nice color of leaves, no yellowing

I know you all love pictures but I’ve decided against it

Question: Is there any course of action other than re-potting with a less hot mix? That would seem to be a bad move at this point (roots visible at container drains) Will flushing help or just remove nutrients that will be needed further down the line? (Have not flushed)

Much thanks to all who have read this!

So how long has it been for transplant? And a little nute burn on tips not harmful but next grow use soil with out ferts in it just good fluffy mix with plenty of drainage. Auto's are very sensitive use way less than photos. But as you get comfortable with them they are easy just don't like early ferts is what I've found.

Yes flushing would help I would not transplant a blooming auto to different medium they don't like it at all during flower maybe others say different but not what I've seen. Make sure you let them dry out good once you've flushed a couple gallons through them. Then slowly reintroduce feedings on a lower dosage level hopefully it corrects. Stay tuned others will chime in. Best of Luck

      Thank you for the reply

She went the first week in a cup and about 3 weeks now in the 5 gal

I have not fertilized at all, just used the “living soil” with all of the amendments (@ double the recommended rate!)

My other plant seems to be loving it

I’m concerned about flushing because my runoff during regular watering is this really dark and rich liquid, do I really want to wash all of that out?

Good to know they are sensitive to nutrients and I’ll go much lighter next time on the amended soil

Trial and error is the game I see, but what an advantage these days a new grower like myself has with all of the accessible experience and information from a good place like here

It must have been a lot harder say 40 years ago

I never learn. I tend to use pretty hot soil for my indoor grows and I always end up putting them in the bath tub to give them a good flushing. Once fixes it.
Haha okay I may have to do just that

A little tip burn is ok. Just be sure to flush with molasses when the time comes.

Do not flush they will adapt just use water and no runoff. It’s just the tip lol. It’s not like bottled nutrients that need to be flushed.

              Gotcha that’s what I’ll do

its funny how some plants seem to be more robust than others, just like veggie gardening
