Growing pollinated cannabis to seed maturity

Once cannabis has been induced to flower by reducing the photoperiod and the female flowers have been pollinated for 3-4 weeks, can the photoperiod be increased to 18 hours to speed up the maturation of the seeds? Thx for your input. Korn
If you bend you will be less likely to break.

Reducing the dark period below 12 hours will cause it to reveg, the seeds will take 4-8 weeks to ripen depending on strain.

Do you think the small green immature seeds (that are now half the size of a mature seed) will still continue to mature even if the mother plant begins to reveg under the 18/6 light schedule?
