    Week 2. Any Concerns?

Hello again, my young plant is at least 2 weeks into growing (vegetating stage). Seems to be going very well. Anything of the obvious? The tips are barely darker with a slight “claw”. Possibly some mild nutrient burn? Medium: happy frog. Base nutrient: Hydro Grow. Added nutrients: rapid root, and hydro Nectar. All water is pH’ed and all nutrients are half of the recommended dosage. Will be moving it to a proper grow tent once I receive it tomorrow but overall this cheap and effective setup has be perfect! Consistently maintaining 66-77 degrees, and 45-55% humidity. Any comments, questions, tips, and concerns are greatly appreciated! ✌️

Clawing (in my experience) is usually caused by too close to the lights or too strong a breeze. Tips burning is usually too much nitrogen but unless it gets out of hand isn't something to go screaming into the night over. Especially during veg.
Pic 1 & 2 don't look like Nitro burn to me... maybe a more experienced grower can help identify the issue.

Thanks again JDU! I’ll try to lessen the amount of wind and increase the distance of the lights to see what happens.

I suspect drainage issue. The soil looks damp. What's in the mix?

Herbgrower, the mix is portioned per 1/4 of a gallon.
800mL of water with: .150mL of General Hydroponic Grow NPK: 7-4-10 (base nutrient), 1.5mL of General Hydroponic Diamond Nectar NPK: 0-0-1, and .150mL of General Hydroponic Rapid Starter NPK: 1-0.5-1 (root growing). It’s been in the 1 gal pot for a week today. Looking to transplant it soon. I have been watering it with 50mL-100mL of the mixed water per 24 hours. The pot does have large drainage holes but it barely has drained any water. Maybe I’m not watering enough to make it drain but it is working When it needs to. Maybe my watering is too little, too frequently? Thanks!

Mass117 I don't know if you have done it or not but you should have 30-40% perlite in your mix to provide air pockets and drainage. https://www.growweedeasy.com/soil
Secondly a proper water practice is that you get 10-20% runoff everytime you water. If you are growing in premix soil try to avoid so many nutrients. https://www.growweedeasy.com/nutrien...soil-nutrients
I think both of these links will get you most of everything else.

Thanks herbgrower. The premix does have some perlite in it. I’ll let it soak up and dry out for two days before watering again. But will water in larger volume, less frequent, till it drains as much as you specified. Thanks for the links!

If that's just one pic of the same plant it's reflections on the leaves from LED that pic looking down 4th one looks good. When you transplant it to larger pot add more perlite to soil no nutes yet just bottle water or Ph. Don't add anything yet. Don't overwater.
