Hello, today i've spotted this on one of my babies (cherry bomb auto 30 days old). This is the only plant that is having the issue so far. The leaves are somehow dry and where the spots are you can break the leaf. What do you think, is this early signs of nute lock or something else. I'm growing in compo sana soil in 15 l pots (20 litres of soil in each pot). Unfortunately before planting the seeds i do not flush and saturate the soil with water days before. If this is lockout, do i need the flush the plant now, and with how much water. Do i need to flush the other plants also, without them showing any signs of anything, if the case is what i did. Thanks in advance.

I'm not feeding them anything, i'm using this soil mix - https://www.compo.com/international/...ting-Soil.html . It says it has everything for the plants for the first 4-6 weeks. Yes, around 6.6. I use 5 ml vinegar 5% acetic acid in every 10 litres of water to get it there and wait around 15 minutes before measuring it with ph meter. I'm not really sure that this is the exact reading however, because sometimes when i measure the water lets say 1 day after i put the vinegar, the reading is higher, around 6.8/9Last edited by orion7769; 02-07-2020, 12:26 PM.

I've heard using vinegar to adjust ph is temporary at best. You might want to consider using something else. And sorry I didn't see the soil you were using when I first read your post. I've never used a pre fertilized soil for growing weed before. It might be your problem. They look like they are getting too much nitrogen. Hopefully someone else chimes in with some better advice

I do have ph down product so i switch to that. I've heard good opinions for that soil so i decided to try it. As u mention, the leaves are very dark and shiny, and now i can see that all other plants look like that, without the brown spots. What shoul i do ? Is 3x volume of the pot in ph'd water a good idea ? If yes, when should i do that, should i wait for the soil to dry a bit, cuz i've water today ? If no, what should i do ? Thanks !

Ok, i got it. I'm going for the flush and will post results. One more question, i have another 3 plants, that are younger at 15 days, that are at the same medium that isn't pre flushed and saturated with water, and i suspect may develop the same problem. How should i treat them ? Thanks

PS: Any ideas what is causing the plant on the pics to look like that. I've got three smaller plants, that are at the same tent, two of them looks like that, and the third is ok. The bulb is placed at 60 cm from the top and the temperatures in the tent are ok, around 27 c during lights on and 20 when off. The plants are growing, but are looking like that for more than a week now.Last edited by orion7769; 02-13-2020, 09:30 AM.

The plants in the pics look overwatered. Just make sure to let the soil dry out somewhat but not completely between waterings. I go by the weight of the pot. Once the first couple of inches are dry, water. Usually every 3 or 4 days is what I find works best for a plant in your stage. They will require more water when they are bigger. I'm glad your plants are doing better! As for the magnisium I just use any brand of cal mag. I use it at 2ml/l with ro water

This is not nute burn this is improper watering roots are suffocating from overwater and improper feeding times. Do not feed this anymore it's very sick so to speak. "Now what do I do" flush it leave it alone to heal. And orion7769 buy soil that's not got nutes in it.Smoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet

I understand guys and you are probably right again, cuz today i noticed that other plants start to show signs of problems, so should be the drainage. I thought that with air pots i don't need any additional drainage ? Watering cycles has been the biggest problem for me and i really can't get it right so far. So i will wait for the soil to dry abit and then will flush them again. Should i place the pots on something, cuz i noticed that when the soil is dry at the top, first inch or two, two bottom of the pot is still wet. All support is really appreciated guys !
