To snip or not to snip

On my second grow, first was a bust with a ton of mistakes. Today as I was removing the dead yellow leaves, I got thinking maybe I should be removing them a bit sooner? From what I gather I wasn’t using enough nutes in the beginning, I have changed my methods with my babies so hopefully each grow will get better. So I would like to know what others do when this does happen, thank you all for the advice that I read on others posts.

I usually defoliate my autos along the way so I usually don't have that many leaves near the end - but in the past when dying leaves get to the stage yours are in I wait until they are dead and crinkly before cutting them off.

I get rid of everything below the canopy, starting with the whole lower third before they start to flower. Anything coming out of that area would be low quality. As far as the yellowing leaves, they've done their job and if the drop with a light pinch, off they go.

Thank you Canuck147, that’s what I have been doing. Once I get my cloning process down better I plan to try different trainings.

This subject is Nebula's tutorial of the week. Got the e-mail this morning. Very informative and in your case, timely.
