HELP! About trim

hello guys

I am beginner grower. I need help. ı use soil canna professional 7 gallon pot. 3week in growing stage. I use scrog this grow. I wonder about trim. can I need trim for big leaves and colas(baby cola and under the scrog)? this is bad for plant? because ı have big fan leaves and ı use led light light is not going down.
İs it necessary?
is plant need directly light on top or is it enough lighting just top the plant?
