Thanks for opening your doors to me. I'm an old geezer who's try his first grow.
I planted a seed toward the end of August and that plant should be ready in ~3 weeks? (It's all utterly new to me)
At the same time, I planted a cutting. That plant appears to be ready to harvest... maybe a week? I'm using the 'trichome' method
to determine 'ripeness'.
So far, I'd say I like the vegetation period best; lots of work to be done. This waiting part, though... ho, hum.
Again, thanks...

Long time lurker. I was born on a farm so I have been growing things my entire life but cannabis is by far my favorite! When I decided to go off the many medications my Drs said I needed I was lucky enough to get great family support & new drs who all agreed I should try medicinal cannabis. (I pretended like that would be a new thing). To save money we went old school outside, it's a long story which led me to this wonderful site filled with all the info I needed. I want to thank Nebula for all your articles, tutorials & easy grow advice. Also I found gobs of great info in the forum, thank you. After finding GWE so useful & easy to use I told my PIC about it. Which led to me returning from vacay to find a tent in my tiny place. First indoor grow went badly, too many hands, too many ideas. Currently have a successful grow of somewhat unknown seeds going. Hoping by joining in the forums my grows will get better each time. Looking forward to getting to know others & share insights. namaste

Nebula,
Think I've read every article you have on this site and want to thank you for the information. It has served to solidify my resolve to grow and has fostered the resulting plan. My appreciation for the time it takes to write in abundance as you have is unending. You express a real sense of true life experience within your articles and that is reinforced by your posts in the forum. Please know that you're truely helping the uninitiated. I wouldn't be so close to starting this endeavor without your help. You and the folks on the GWE forum are a goldmine of credible information. Now I just have to keep saving my pennies until I've enough to buy everything. Thanks.

These plant had seeds, I made biggest mistake by waiting to long to extract males. I just pulled, and pollen everywhere, I misunderstood my mentor and did not place trashbag over plant before pulling. I have learned to recognize the male early now thanks to leafy pics. of developing males. So the seed I did get were all between 8th and 10th generations. My mentor gave me the seeds to start and those seed were 7th to 9th gen.
