    These lights look familiar

    Farmall Doesn’t this look familiar?

I haven’t dug into their numbers yet, but Migro seems to be enthusiastic about them.
There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
    1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
    2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
    3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

YYCannabis . Familiar, yup... I started working on this about 2 months ago and it’s ready for use but not done experimenting with it yet. I have it hanging in my room at work to keep testing and horsing around with the strips....figured I would try the center beam approach. My drivers, like yours are mounted outside to minimize heat as the Migro guy suggests they do on the Mammoth units. My center beam has 4 feet of blue booster on it and 4 feet of Emerson red as well as 16’ of Samsung lm301b with cREE xp-g3 photo reds. These light strips claim 2.75+ umols and the Mammoth shows 2.1. I really like the remote box with timer and dimmer.

dont know if you’ve read the post I wrote about making a set of lights to act like a low level chair rail along the perimeter side. Our teepee approach convinces me this could be a valuable position for lighting. After this set, I think I’m done. Check your PM

That electrical connection is sketchy 😂

Nice looking setup. Very slick with that beefy center aluminum extrusion.

As for the teepee...I’m contemplating getting away from the tent and building a proper room to help better utilize what these strips can do when used TP style. The problem with my 4x4 tent is that I’m restricted to just 2 or 3 plants otherwise there is no side space to use. My design idea is to build a long and narrow 6’x14’ room, and grow my plants in a line instead of placed in square cluster. The TP needs extra square feet that most growers want to fill with plants.

My light design might also end up changing from a two-line Teepee to a pyramid/birdcage design so I don’t have to worry about rotating the plants 90 degrees everyday.

Well, you are right... I’m ditching the tent and using a 10x12 room maybe three of the walls and the 4th for cabinets to house all of the accessories used in the process. Make my chair rail light easy to mount . The connection you see is a temp to determine the use of that very lightweight driver for the reds. I have meticulously routed all wiring within the channels of the center beam and used the cheap plastic dress up stuff to conceal it. $3.00 for a 6 ft strip ....Check out that 8020.net and tnutz.com for aluminum oddball stuff... the center beam is a T10 series extrusion
