how to keep flowering in using a grow cabinet

found that my plants are in a cabinet and I found that a few days ago a mould like substance started to appear on the rock wool at near the stalk on the top what do I do and what happened

First, remove the algae or mold, then Cover the rockwool!!! Post a picture of what you have growing on the rockwool: I've had some algae on rockwool where the light was getting down there. Make sure your cover prevents light from hitting moist rockwool.

Make sure you get the right size cover, should be slightly larger than circumference of the pot:

      Welcome grantleslie 1,
Definitively remove the mold/algae and cover the net pot around the stalk. I use a piece of aluminum foil to block the light until the plant shades it naturally. The foil can be put right up against the stem and will not bind or harm it as it grows. I also use Florashield (2 - 3 ml/gal) in the reservoir water. Do not use the Florashield (or other products like Hydroguard) if you are using live microbiological supplements or additives as they can harm the beneficial organisms as well.
      Good luck with you grow.
