    Planting seeds

When do I plant seeds for 2017 growing season. I will be transplanting & growing out doors.

Well make sure there is more day than night or they will try to flower. I start mine 30 days before I intend to move them outside. 3 months of veg makes for large plants.

You need sun and warm to be ready (at least a warm spring) cold slows these plants down.

Depends on where you live. You want long warmish days during veg cycle and cooler(at least toward the end) shorter days during bloom.

When it starts raining fairly steady in your area plant them in a mostly sunny spot and wait until the weather warms up.
          Grow and good luck

Thank to all for replies.. I usually plant tomatoes and other warm weather plants in last couple weeks of May. So I was thinking i would transplant from pots and growing room in green house into garden about June 1st. making sure all chance of frost is gone and still giving a long growing season. I was un sure how long seeds would take to sprout and mature to a good large transplant stage.

I germ in my tent then transplant outside when I'm sure it's safe. I grow mostly inside though. That said sow to transplant is usually about 2.5 weeks for me.
