thanks, insomniaczz, i wasn't really asking w/a purpose in mind, i just literally didn't know what to do. as in, i'm reading along, harvest harvest, etc., etc., dry, dry, cure.... oh yeah, when you throw it out don't be a dumbass. that's why i assumed i was asking something obvious. yeah, of course everyone would do that if it were possible. i just was asking i guess theoretically, would the plant die on its own or do you actively have to kill it. if that makes sense....

thanks, SSD. so it wouldn't die unless you kill it...is what you and insomiacazz are saying? i'm not trying to be dense, i swear.

You "can" selectively harvest your plant, picking the flowers while leaving the plant alive, but this requires the plant go back into vegetative phase. It's cheaper, faster, and easier to grow a new crop.

We just let them dry a slow death by depriving them of water, then disposed of entire root ball and soil in the gardens out back.

Are you asking if you can reveg it and get another harvest.........I don't think so or everyone would be doing that. Consider it like a tomato plant. You don't keep it for the next year.

Mine goes into the composter. If you don't have a composter, then cut it up in pieces and toss it in the trash.

sooo don't laugh but everything i've ever read, here and other places, talk about everything up to and including harvest and skips to drying and curing, for obvious reasons. but nothing talks about what happens in that in between space, except off hand comments i've seen about being careful about how you "dispose" of your plants. so what i'm asking is, what happens to the plant itself, after being harvested. and i'm not asking about drying or curing. i'm asking specifically, what happens to the lady plant that you just took all the buds off?

again, don't laugh, i really don't know, other than the obvious, duh, don't set it out with the garbaahhge.

    thank you.
