First Clones - How Frequent Should I Water/Spray?

Hey guys, so I just clipped my first clones and got them trimmed, dipped in rooting hormone, and placed in rooter pods.

Please give any advice as to about how often I should water/spray them?

I have them on 23/1 light as they were in week two of flower, so will need a slight re-veg. I'm chuckling at myself a little doing my first clones ever but also doing a more advanced process of re-vegging.

Anyway, I cut them at a 45 angle right below the third node on the stem. They are each only about 2-3 inches tall and I cut the fan leaf tips off all of them. Guess I'm just crossing my fingers they will be ok; my brother is thinking I actually have them too big... ???

Hey Ardek I don't think there to big at all as far as cut length. And I cut about the same time as you did on my last clones with the mother. I water only till moist on the medium not soaked. Kept cover on for 5days then I removed it while plants are still under light mine t-5 2" away from light. I only mist for a few days as the humidity dome does the work for me. Provided it's warm enough to create humidity in the dome. Good luck keep us posted.

So I guess my question is, should I spray/mist the leaves if they look dry even if the dome is somewhat moist (has condensation still)???

You don't want the leaves to be "wet". Umder the dome with no air circulation you'll get PWM

If you just did these on the 28th? sure I mist for 3-4days then let the humidity dome do the rest. You just don't want soggy medium just moist else you get that "damping off" type stem rot at base where it meets soil. You got this, just keep an eye on the moistness if they look too wet take cover off let air circulate.

Agreed Budgal- the only cutting that's too big is the one that doesn't fit under the dome. & I only mist a clone 1 or 2x /day for 2 or 3 days too. 👍

Thanks guys!! I thought I was supposed to mist the leaves/keep them wet.. I'll make sure to just mist the dome the next few days *crosses fingers

Don't neglect to give it some air too.... I take the dome completely off until it starts to wilt once or twice the 1st 2 days & then replace it. Continue more & more often as the days go by. By day 4 or 6 they can usually spend most of the day in the open but I cover them at night or when I'm not there to watch them.

They are in what I assume is 'first wilt'. They still look 'ok'... I think??? Kind of worried, but I'm assuming this is normal?

I have the warming pad set to inside dome temp of 85F (29.4444C lol), is that good, or should I decrease?

The Mandarin Haze is doing MUCH better than the Gipsy Haze; not really surprising, the M Haze has been much thicker/hardier on grow.

Perfectly normal. Now cover em up & let em recover. 👍
