We're starting week 13, 5th week of 12/12. Buds are growing thicker, trichomes are clear and getting thicker and stickier by the day. The new double-wide cabinet has been a bit cool at 68F -- with only one plant and light going in there, I expected a bit of coolness. Added a couple of seedling heat mats and got the temps up to 78F. They started taking in more water with the added heat, and the grape aroma is growing stronger. I'm building the room out as the plants grow. Time to get some powered ventilation and carbon filter

      Week 14, Week 6 of 12/12.

The plant looks like it's not quitting yet. Buds added over 1" of pure, dense bud to the tips of all major colas. I went from being 18" under the Vipar Spectra 450 Dimmables, to close to 16". Buds are getting denser. I have transitioned from my Miracle Grow Veg & Herb to Miracle Gro Bloom Booster. Every time I fertilize/water the cabinet, grow room, whole house is filled with grape aroma.

Seeing as how the plants were kicking out the grape jams with every good dose of phosphorus, I thought I'd go out on a limb and try the Botanicaire Sweet Grape Mineral supplement. I had to do a bit of work with the EC meter, since the supplement added to my dissolved solids numbers by about 100. Fortunately I mixed 7 pints in the 1-gallon container I use for fertilizer mixing, and was able to dilute the mixture a bit and then add back some phosphorus with a touch of bloom booster.

Unfortunately, my big trip to the city only resulted in finding a limited supply of the supplement. I could not find Grape, so I settled for the Berry. New smell after application was less Grape and a lot more earthy.

Anyway, here is some cola porn.

It's good to hear from other Michigan growers. With 12 plants legal, 2.5 ounces legal for transportation and unsecured storage in the home. 8 additional ounces allowed in locked storage, we certainly have a lot of options for growing, plus we have this opportunity to create more permanent growing environments for our plants.

SoOrbudgal Thank you for the compliment on the photo. I'm glad you like it. I'm still working on a "poster quality" version of the shot using a different background, adjusting focus, and finding just the right angle to shoot. I tried to send you a private message, but that was blocked. Once I get the photo right I'd be happy to send you a version. I'd just need a place to send it.

SoOrbudgal I think Michigan Law is the result of "the harder we work, the luckier we got." Efforts go back to the 60s when U of M was UC-Berkley, Midwest, and John Sinclair led the fight against lifestyle oppression after his arrest in 1971. John Lennon headed the Free John Sinclair protest after his arrest. On April 1, 1972, a Michigan Supreme Court decision made cannabis legal for three weeks. I skipped school that day and went to Ann Arbor to celebrate the decision at the first annual Hash Bash. https://www.lansingstatejournal.com/...ash/971540001/

        At week 15, Week 7 of 12/12.

Top buds are now 16" away from light and doing well. I've gone to straight Miracle-Gro Bloom Booster with Botanicare Berry booster. Will begin to flush soon, then go to molasses.

Everything is looking pretty good. And smelling wonderful.

Things are really going great with this Amnesia Trance (AMS).

Week 8 of 12/12, we're seeing the leaves turn to their autumn colors, and the colas are really beginning to fatten up. I started to flush as soon as I saw the plant draining the nutes from the leaves.

Into week 9, I've flushed the plants and have started with organic molasses. This plant has a strong grape aroma, which changes slightly with different flavor enhancers. Things got more earthy with the Botanicare Berry additive, then when I changed to the molasses, the aroma got distinctly sweeter. Placebo effect? The Missus notices the odor change, even though I don't tell her I've changed flavor enhancers.

Three days later and the color change is very distinct. Trichomes are clear, but the tops seem amber. I've seen this throughout the grow and I believe the color is a refraction of the available light. Snipping a small piece of bud and letting it dry overnight, I found the smoke incredibly smooth -- just an overnight dry, no cure -- with a bit of a minty/fruity flavor. One toke and I found the high very Sativa like. Uplifting and cerebral.

IMPORTANT: I've learned that this strain will suck every bit of life out of a leaf. The leaf will still have clear trichomes, but it will be brown. Once it goes brown this dead leaf invites bud rot. I find it important to trim any leaves that are getting close to brown. The small bud I trimmed had some of the brown leaf, which I cut off. No bud rot, just good smoke.

AMS stated 9-10 weeks of flower before harvest. I think I'm still 3-10 days away. So we could venture into week 11.

And here is the plant in my 2'x4' flowering cabinet. It is sharing the space with a couple of female White Widow Extremes, which I'm going to use for breeding. Full height of the AT is 32".
