    Are new roots fuzzy?

Having a look at my roots, I have only one plant that seems to getting new roots near the top of the basket that are fuzzy/furry looking. I’m not sure what to make of that.

No top feeding since this plant was 2wks old so I don’t think it’s a mold issue...or is it?

    Cheers

There are 3 things you must check everyday when growing in hydro:
    1) Water level (How much h2o is she drinking in 24hrs)
    2) pH level (change over 24hrs)
    3) ppm/EC level (How much food is she eating in 24hrs)

I should also note that this is my plant from another post that was recently very droopy for almost a week. But here’s how she looks now

Probably fine. If you are worried if is mold, spray the fuzzy with water and if the fuzzy "retracts" then they are roots not mold. When i did some microgreens they had roots that looked like that and this was the method to tell if it was roots or mold. It may have had a slight root issue which caused the droop and forced it to create new roots but i wouldnt be worried unless the plant was showing symptoms.

I believe you are fine. That also happens to me at the top of the netted pot.
