Maxey, here is a link to a great GWE article on controlling pH if you are growing in organic soil. http://www.growweedeasy.com/adjust-ph-organic-marijuana
Otherwise you may need to order some pH up and down from Amazon or eBay. Even though 7 is a bit high, its not crazy high and so I wouldn't worry to much yet. Just make sure that your water going in is about 6.

BTW, your plants are still small, the drooping could just mean it is thirsty,

Your temps are on the line of being hot.. do you have an exhaust fan? The plants are drooping which is water and the high temp is bothering her . All fixable maybe the light is to close.
Yeah I agree it seems hot. I decided to put the bucket ring back in with the LEDs turned off. This raised the CFLs a couple inches and increased the total volume of air in the bucket. An hour later and it has dropped in temp quite a bit.
And yes there is an exhaust fan and two intake fans.
Thanks everyone so far! More to come!

I'd ditch the Peat pot it's going to root bind. I think you are overheated and over watered. My recommendation is transplant to the large pot and water well.

I don't know why you don't like peat pots. I use them on all of my grows and never have problems with root binding. The roots grow right through them.

hey maxy, welcome. i'm a newbie too and like you did a ton of reading around before signing up for the forum. so glad i did.....wonderful place full of incredibly knowledgeable and friendly people.

since you asked, here's what mainlining is, although i don't think it's safe to begin with a plant in stress. others will advise you on that i'm sure, or ask the original poster who suggested it. either way, good luck!

"Main-Lining" definition: a form of training and managing canopy that builds a "hub" off of a single node and creates a "manifold" for equal energy distribution from the root mass to the growing tops.

First grow is always a paranoid one, relax and breathe! She's just a lil hot and over watered.
          Perpetual setup!

No, keep the peat pots. the roots grow right through them. these are in peat pots as we speak.

I gently dug away a bit and saw the roots are going through no problem. Will let it dry out today.

The process is so fun and I'm learning a lot as I go, I hope this plant survives but I'm just as excited to try the next one!

Heck yeah kingfish, it's a struggle sometimes especially when there are so many techniques to consider and trying to figure out the one(s) that will work for me.
