Please show the plant so hydro growers may be able to help.

What you’re seeing on some roots as they exit the net pot is potentially the first stages of rot. The lower roots that extend into the water appear to be healthy so I would avoid any kind of immediate treatment that could potentially stunt them. Check the roots daily for the next week to see if the condition advances lower down the roots, if it does do a reservoir change and continue to keep a close eye on them.

I think you'll need to show pictures of the leaves for these guys to see the whole picture

Roots look just fine. Sometimes nutes turn them brown. If you dont see or feel any slim your probably ok. Can also smell root rot.

Are the roots slimy and smelly and you are experiencing weird plant symptoms? Then yes. Do the nutes you use have the same color as the roots? Then it could be nute dyed roots. Its hard to see in the beginning stages so your pictures are not that helpful. Are you using a root inoculate like Hydroguard? If not then i would start. If you dont have access to Hydroguard just look for something similar or you can use h2o2 to kill the bacteria. I wouldnt use more than 1-2 tsp of H2O2 per gal.

If it is root rot then i would sterilize everything with H2O2 and do a res change. Whether or not it is root rot i would start using a root inoculate for this and future grows. Haven't had root rot since i started using Hydroguard.

They are not feel slimy but twist and lose branches in areas they go brown, visible on photos, that’s why it catches my attention. Upper part and leaves looks good instead one that got white roots)) I got no access to hydro guard but I use pyranha and voodoo juice together. I think I can’t replace the system now because its too large to change it during the growing, I will replace it only with the plants if the will go too bad I think 🤔
