Grape ape clones age and how do they look?

HI guys and gals
First time grower here and picked these girls up 2 days ago and was wondering if anyone could give an approx age on these girls. They both came in small solo cups so I transfered 1 into a bigger solo and the other into a 1 gallon. I'm using ffof and no nutes for the first month. CFL grow. I watered them well after transplant and I'm just misting now with spray bottle. Temps are 68 to 70 lights out and 73 to 78 lights on 18/6. I have a humidifier in the rm my grow box is in but can't seem to get rh higher than 38 to 40% Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

They both have new growth and look healthy so they must have a decent root structure started. Its not as easy to guess the age of a clone as it is from seed. Make sure your watering is as close to pH 6 as possible. Do you plant on topping plant? If so, get the one in solo cup into a bigger pot and let them grow about two more new sets of leaves before topping.

I think you are making a mistake by not giving them any nutes....they need it...see the yellow color of leaves.....they both were on a healthy plant getting fed...now that they have roots and are trying to grow.....you are undernourishing them.....clones are young...you had to of gotten them right after they rooted...put both of them into final pot and start some training on them before they get to lanky...will also encourage more nodes and tighter ones.....cfls need to be way closer...waaayy

Well from what I've read ffof is loaded with nutes so I don't want to over do it especially since I just transplanted. Lights are about 3 or 4 inches away. So should I lower them further? I'm going to transfer the solo cup plant into 1 gallon tomorrow. I was planning on one more transplant in a couple of weeks to a 3 gallon fabric pot. How often should i be watering since they are still very young? Is misting enough 3 times a day for the next week or so? Is this not a good plan? I've been reading tons of info online the last few weeks but being my first attempt at a grow I'm nervous...lol

stop misting...that's how you are feeding them instead of roots uptaking from medium...
no need to ever mist or spray your weed plants with water...

you talking about fox farm ocean forest??...is that a coco blend??.....

water when medium is dry up to almost second knuckle...and when you do.. soak them...till you get 20% run off....test your run off ph from time to time to make sure that is in line.....give water and nute water at 6 ph ....

OK thanks for the advice. I'm using ocean forest soil. I didn't want to get any root rot and I thought I read on gwe to mist them when they are small especially if humidity is low which mine is around 38 to 40 rhythm. I will just stick to regular watering and give that a try. Thanks a bunch!

Soil has lots of nutes to start. Local grow store said no nutes for 3 to 4 weeks because soil has enough to start. It's supposed to be ph'd 6.3 to 6.8. Waiting for my ph test kit to come in so I can start testing. I've been watering with Poland spring bottled water which has a ph of 6.5 until I can start checking with test kit. Hopefully I'll be OK til then. Should I lower light further? They are 3 or 4 inches away from plants

Mist the sides or the floor of your tent or grow box.. never ever the little ladies. I'll even put a bucket or a bowl of water in there and it seems to help

at least two inches...if no heat...you will tell when to close...edges will curl slightly...

yes no nute till you notice bottom leaves to turn yellowish...probly soon after flower flip...6.5 ph for that will work great...

I have a humidifier setup right outside a vent on my grow box. I even made a hood so exhaust fan pulls it into grow box. I think one of the biggest issues is air is very dry this time of year plus grow box is in my utility room with my boiler so that sucker isn't helping...lol I've been also misting the interior of the box plus I have a bowl of water in there also. I think I will be fine once they get a bit bigger. For what I've read 40 rh is fine for flower and 50 to 60 rh is good for veg but since my girls are still small I wanted to get humidity up to at least 60. I might have to put humidifier in grow box for the time being I guess.

Sounds like you have a good setup for your humidifier, I've tried to put it straight in my grow box it helps with the humidity but raises the temperature too high when it's warm outside. What works best for me is I have my grow box near my bedroom window and I installed one of those little air conditioners that go in the window this helps with the temperature and brings moisture into the air

I'm using a cool mist so I think it might lower Temps in box. Good thing is I can always add a few more bulbs to get temp up if needed. Right now Temps are great 68 lights off and 75 to 80 lights on.
