New to indoor growing and looking for some advice.

Just wondering what might be going on with my plant.
I'm using a 600 watt hps which is about 3 feet above the plant. I also have an oscillating fan and small desk fan moving the air. Keeping at around 70 to 75 degrees. Very little nutrients being used at this time.
Not trying to over water but could be the problem??
    Thanks for any help!

Looks like heat stroke but I use leds so others might have better answers. But I'd say too much heat coming down

As for watering, the plant looks big enough to give a thorough soaking and let dry out in between. That is better than doing a half water every day. Make sure you pH is as close to 6 as possible. If you can comfortably hold the back of your hand under the light for a minute at the same height as plants, then it is not too intense.

      Hi Matt Welcome!

It looks like the light did this when maybe it was thirsty . Have to be real careful I use the palm of my hand, 3 feet seems a long ways I use mine at about 15 -16 inches.

So to me the plant dried out and the light was doing it's job and the plant needed water. These are mistakes to learn from keeping PH at 6.00 and no pots sit in a puddle ever. And test the light on your palm for heat.

Light bleaching is similar to bleached hair from spending ample time under the sun. Read for more information on how to prevent and solve light bleaching.

Thank you! I've added more water and adjusted the light height so I'll see what happens..

Matt, how big is your pot, how much water do you give her , and how do you know it's time? It looks like your soil is unevenunevenly watered in the picture.

It's about a 3 gallon pot and I was only giving it a cup of water every morning. I think I need to go with more water. First time inside kinda worried about messing it up.

Do this now. PH adjust two gallons of water to 6 now, unless you have a case of bottled water. Water your baby slowly so pools do not form. Water edge to edge until your plant drains, not drip, but drains. Drain completely and put back under the light. Then leave it alone for a couple/few days and let it dry out
