Hmmm. I have used paint strainers over the soil before. No need to remove them because water and nutes pass right through.

    Diatomaceous Earth

some use 1", I get away with a couple of tablespoons liberally sprinkled on the surface

it clumps up, when you get it wet ,(I saw somebody dedicate a vacuum to DE, they would put a good 2 inches on their pots, vacuum it before watering and reuse when needed)

Another week has passed and the ladies are really packing it on. I do have a few fungus gnats (I think) but have been told not to worry just let the soil dry out a couple days. Any input or experience with them? I haven’t searched the forum yet...

Thanks! Several leaves are turning a purple hue, hopefully just part of the flowering process as it has been my last two grows. I hope that’s all it is!

Beautiful plants, but I'd keep a close eye on them because, looks like a little bleaching is going on the top leaves, might just be my eyes though, they ain't as good as they used to be.lol
