Hey everyone, very first time grow here, I'm so excited, probably more than I should be, but it is what it is. This thread is for posting pictures of progress and any issues that might arise from my first grow (let's hope there's gonna be very little of those). Alright so let's start with the equipment I purchased and let me know if this makes any sense.
Tent :VIVOSUN Horticulture 48"x48"x80"
Exhaust fan, carbon filter, ducting : VIVOSUN Air Filtration Kit: 4 Inch 203 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller
Lamp : Phlizon Newest 2200W LED Plant Grow Light
Nutrients : General Hydroponics Floragro, Florabloom & Floramicro
Soil : Pro-Mix HP (soil-less medium)
Seeds have been started with rapid rooters (which I had a terrible experience with). These soaked so much water, like a sponge, and their instructions said to wet them and leave them in a quarter inch water at the bottom to keep them hydrated. Needless to say those were not just humid, they were wet, spongy, cold, and I still wonder to this day how my seeds have ever germinated in this environment, my girls are champions. Either way, they had a slow start for sure, I have since them moved them into "starter cups" and they are now 12 days from seed. I personally wanted to grow with dirt, but you wouldn't believe how expensive it was to get my hands on FoxFam soil in Canada, crazy expensive, so I went with what I thought was my next best option. I wanted to ask about how they are doing for this age, considering their slower start, I attached pictures below of the plants and their growing environment.
I've also read about when to start giving nutrients to my plants, from what I've read, two weeks is generally accepted. So I'd only be two days off from the pictures below, which seems a little early, I wanted to get opinions on that too. Thanks for accepting me into this community!
