LED grow lights and protective glasses

Are protective glasses mandatory with LED grow lights? I probably know the answer is yes! But, which ones, are there spectrum differences and will my prescription shades or even a pair of fit-overs I use for fishing work?

Received my light a few days ago and the tent arrives today. I plugged in the light yesterday and made sure it pointed away and holy buckets that thing is bright!! I'm thinking I need protection but how much?

They work well enough. Problem is, I never use them. I like to see my plants in natural light.

Thanks. Went with a two pack as Wife and I are both glasses wearers and looks like these fit over and have a case so I can hang nearby.
