    Seedling leaf discoloration

One of my seedling’s first set of leaves is discolored. Is it a sign of something wrong, or should I ignore it? My other 2 seedlings look fine.

Those first 2 leaves don't do much anyways. Not to worry, you'll chop them off eventually - but not yet.

I suppose if I keep seeing this, I should get worried. Sounds like not until then. Thanks!

Hi s62, I hope the soil is not hot, i.e., fertilized? A seedling at that age is too young for fert. and it will burn it.

The seedlings are in Coco Loco, as per KindSoil’s directions. I don’t think Coco Loco is too hot, but I could be wrong?

Hmmm, maybe the roots are in a pocket of nitrogen or something? Not sure if those tend to happen in Coco Loco or not. The other side is a little discolored and the new growth looks like it might be as well. Still just that plant. Wouldn’t be lockout this early, would it? I wasn’t pH’ing my tap water as I was using very little. pH of water was probably 7-8ish. Closer to 7 than 8 if I remember correctly.

s62 You gotta ask the soil growers; I'm strictly hydro...
