Hi Everyone,
Been super busy with work but am gearing up for a grow in late September.
Saw this Oxyclone device on sale at my local grow shop and decided to try it out.
It uses an air and water pump to both add air to the water and circulate the water at the same time.
I took 20 clones from 3 mother plants that were somewhat abused and neglected (due to my work schedule) and set them into the Oxycloner on August 14th.
I used plain scissors and simply cut the stalks at a 45 degree angle and removed any bits of growth that would be submerged in the water. I set it on a table in a north facing window and used tap water with a ph of 5.6. I added a teaspoon of kelp solution to the water and let it go. After 5 days no roots showing. After 10 days 15 plants with roots started. The pictures show 14 days later and the super root growth on all but 2 of the cuttings.
Real happy with the results and it is a set and almost forget method that I see works well.
Will plant 4 of the clones into autopots in a test of the low maintenance system to see if my start and leave alone growing will be successful.
I appreciate any comments and hope this is of some value for the forum.
Cheers.
