Question on square meters per plant

When choosing a strain and the yield says for example 450g per sq meter. if i have a square meter tent with 600w light and air extractors, does square meter mean i would have to have one plant in that tent to get its maxium yield of 450g. would more plants in there crowd each other and produce less yield per plant, ?????

that number is growing with a 1000 watt sodium light, dont really matter if you super train one humongus plant to fill the space of you fit 9 small plants, one 1000 watt light with a square meter of canopy will produce 450grams. its way faster and easier to fit several plants to use every inch of light

That figure is also conditional on being an expert grower under ideal conditions, medium, light, nutrients, ph, rh., temp., training, defoliation, etc. And doing all that at exactly the right time. For the rest of us about half that or less.

Great question and answer. I had been wondering the same thing.
