Okay I know I have had a lot of questions throughout the grow being my first time but I am at the end of grow or extremely close to harvest so this will be last question this grow. Don’t get to excited I’ll be back next grow which has already. So the question is she finally ready to prepare for chop? I know I have asked this question in the past amazing how far off I was looking back. I’m am fairly certain that she is ready now but could be wrong

Gorgeous looking buds, bud! I want to congratulate you on an excellent looking first grow. However, because you use the flash on your camera, the trichomes are fore-lit, rather than being backlit, so it is very hard to tell what their content is. Can you take a pic while your grow or room lights are on, but while your flash is off? As close as possible without losing focus or getting too blurry because of zoom. Looking really excellent, though!Last edited by s62; 08-23-2019, 11:11 AM.Gorilla 3x3

I always like to say, when you're absolutely sure they're ready, wait two more weeks. Great things can happen. Also you'll have more questions about harvesting, drying, curing, burbing, storage, etc.Last edited by PRIMO; 08-23-2019, 09:43 AM.

It's very hard to judge your trichs even clicking close ups it's blurry for me. Are they cloudy where they use to be clear? Do you see amber on their heads at least 30% on all the top cola buds? CC if you think it's ready you do what is best this could be another learning curve. Good luckSmoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet

They are mostly cloudy with several amber and I also see clear. CC if your plant is indica mostly depends on what kinda high you want. We grow beans that are primarily indica we like all cloudy 30-40% amber heads. I would not give anything but flush water/molasses (unsulfurated) you are not by my opinion losing any potency THC at this point not to worry cbn non issue now. What's the strain indica or sativa what kinda smoke are you wanting? You could be less than 7 days from harvest shoot another pic 3days. Very well done. Sorry didn't think to add all that. Sativa dominant hybrid Sour Cheese 8 weeks flower. Actually, I was planning on running nutes to end. Not full strength but about 1/4 normal amount. I know it's a hot topic but after much research and asking others that's the conclusion I came to. Growing in black gold organic mixed with peat

I agree with the gal, and stand by what I said earlier, better a week late than a week early. How high was the guy that told you feeding nutrients til harvest was a good idea? Why not just dunk your joints in nute water before you smoke them?

Well it was more than one person otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it. I don’t base my findings off one persons opinions but off several opinions and lots of research. To my understanding the so called taste problem is not due to nutes but instead improper harvest, drying or curing. Idk personally this is my first grow so I will learn for myself eventually but rn it is a hot topic that many disagree on. I will post screenshots of the feedback I got when asking about flushing. I’m not in position to argue it being my first grow just explaining why I chose that route. I do have another sour cheese that isn’t ready yet and thought about trying no nutes at end to compare so I can chime in with actual knowledge and not just what I hear. Adding screenshots of that debate below

Will do I have to give results from flushing and not flushing since that’s a hot topic. I fed half nutes toward end after I did a proper flush approximately 2 weeks ago. My next girl will be ready in a couple more weeks so I thought about not giving any nutes at end to see if there is a difference. I also have one that was harvested early because she just stopped producing anything new and had been no change for well over a week. She didn’t look immature just smaller. I believe it is due to the lack of leaves it had due to a defiency earlier in flower. Fingers crossed. Thanks for everyone’s help

Adding screenshots of where I got flushing info from as I told Primo I would. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong because idk yet but the arguments do make a lot of sense to me6 Photos

we live we learn right? With there being so much controversy It’s looking like I have to learn for myself. There are too many factors to really know. Say someone says it didn’t taste right but was it because of the nutes or was it not dried and cured properly? Was it harvested at the right time or was it early? These are all parts that can affect the final taste. So in order to really know all these factors have to be the same except for the one variable the nutes.

Looks pretty ready to me, but I also like the mostly cloudy/not much amber in the end.. like the heady/non couch high. But overall, beautiful!!
I just finished my first grow as well.. when I thought they were ready, I let them go one more week, and was SUPER glad i did.

The first time I questioned her she still had a lot to go very glad I waited but am pretty confident that she is ready now. I do have to experiment with them to see where I like it. Harvest one tomorrow, and one in a week. Just another month before I can smoke it. Out of all the gardening there is nothing that compares to the beauty of Cannabis

Updating post I harvested one Sunday and will harvest sister tomorrow. I have pictures of each to show trichomes at harvest time in case it's helpful to anyone new. I also have 2 other sisters 1 harvested a couple of weeks ago and one still 2 weeks away. I will; conducting a flush or don't test with the current having nutes till the end and no nutes last 2 weeks of the sibling. I will post resultsin a month or so. I can say the one that was harvested early is some good stuff. I tried some yesterday and was happy with results so should be happy with her sisters7 Photos
