When examining trichomes in order to determine when to harvest, does one look at trichomes on the buds, or on the sugar leaves, or both? I’m in week 6 of flowering for a photo grow, and not close to harvest. Yet I already see amber trichomes on my leaves.

I like your setup Green Thumb. Are you getting the results you expected using the kind soil? I’ve used only water and the result was outstanding. The 315LEC : did you vent the light or the entire tent? My 315LEC gave incredible yields last time

Thanks! The Kind Soil has been doing amazingly well. I added a compost tea once, but that’s been it. I’m not sure I follow your venting question. I vent my whole tent, I guess. I use a pretty typical setup of carbon scrubber -> fan -> exhaust out of tent.
What kind of yields did you get, out of curiosity?

My light housing is sealed on the bottom with a glass door and has a 6” in and a 6” out flange so I went thru it with the tubing and fan out to the carbon filter... essentially the room never climbed above 77F and the lamp housing was cool to the touch. As for yield, this is a big variable based on grow technique and my original one, was simply topping and LST. I’m now training as if it was the 2020 Olympics! The tea I watered with was worm casing steeped 24 hours and aerated with an air stone. As for current yield, it’s still yielding
The ease and convenience of super soil far exceeds the crazy cost. Eventually, as I see it, most trios of nutes makes up the difference. All I do now is a pH check on my water going in. Able to use about 1200ml without drainage every 2-3 days
