They are fed water. They are approximately 8 weeks old. They could have been this size by 6 weeks, I think, but I screwed up my schedule and couldn't put them under the 600 until 2 days ago. In the last two days they've grown considerably for such a short period.

At any rate, the pots are made by rootmaker, the soil is made by kindsoil.com, the risers are from my hydro shop.

Oh... and my water at the tap is 8.3 -8.4 ph so I use each juice crystals to drop my ph to 6 and I let the microbes do the work.

Hi Nugs........I saw your thread. I am bumping it up just to make sure that you see that I saw it. I honestly don't know why I made that comment that you never post pictures. I'm a hapless harebrain. LOL

Thanks everyone. Just trimmed some more. My wife has 3 friends that stopped by. We knocked it all out in about 5 hours.

ill get some pics up later. Looks like I'll be jarring late tomorrow or early Friday. Only going to be a 4-5 day dry. I had to turn up my scrubber due to the smell in the house. Wifey gets paranoid. I don't blame her and I'm glad she puts up with it. It got pretty gnarly for a while.

Gorilla glue fluffed up a lot and looks whispy. Wasn't expecting much. Maybe a couple of ounces of smokeable buds. I threw just as much into extract. Bummer. Lesson learned... should have dropped the axe on her when I first found the mites back in veg. Thought I beat them but the Borg always return.

Pic is of one of the larger branches from the GDP. She sparkles. I jarred up some of the smaller nugs and checked it a couple hours later. Smelled like grape koolaid and fuel. I think it will mellow into a deeper berry smell. I hope.

The gorilla glue smells like sour perfume.

Tent is getting scoured with hot bleach water this weekend. Another observation. The mites never got a foothold on the GDP. She was so healthy and vibrant. Growing her was like driving a tank. Nothing could stop her... my uncle took 8 clones from her. She may be a keeper.

Got everything jarred up. Humidity is hovering around 70%. Gonna burp em first thing in the morning. Put them on the scale. 12.2 oz on the GDP and 3.7 oz on the GG#4.

The GDP is sweet and fuely. The GG4 still has a bit of hay smell to it, slightly sour.

Smoked a bit of the GDP, the taste was shallow, as expected. She ground up nicely and was quite smooth. Strong body buzz and my eyes started drooping after the 2nd hit. Very happy with it. So is wifey.

                    In summary:

Like I mentioned, I learned quite a bit this grow about pest management, scheduling, and knowing when to cull. It's easy to transmit pests from clones... my uncle hooked me up with the gg4 clone and a few doezen spider mites. They were the 2 spotted bastards. Ugh! I'll have nightmares about them for a while.... so scarred.

I wished I could have dropped my temps more and let them go another week to get some more purple.

But to focus on the positive, Blimburn's GDP (fem) was a true joy to grow. Fast, strong, flexible, loved nutes, and should be some superior smoke. She's my highest yielder to date.

I enjoyed using Advanced Nutrients. They're too expensive though. Plain and simple. I really like their Nirvana (Humic/Fulvic acid), Big Bud (Bloom booster), and Bud Candy (Carbohydrate/sweetner).

I'm switching to a super soil type grow called kind soil as some of you know. They just got flipped today in fact. I'll open up a new thread soon.

Thanks all for reading my first grow journal. Hope you enjoyed and maybe learned something.

                    Royal Nugs out!

Knowing when to cull...... not too many people can wrap their head around that idea.....

It has been an enjoyment following this thread....thank you

Here's a bud of the GDP, post drying and roughly 3 weeks cured.

I just burped for the first time in a few days. The lids were suctioned onto the jar, definitely some processes still going on in there. It smelled of a deep, sweet berry with a trace of citrus. Smoke is thick and sweet, but unimpressive. Rich, deep high that I feel behind my eyes within minutes. Relaxing with a bit of couchlock. Good night time strain. Overall 8/10.

The gorilla glue smells earthy and flat. The smoke is unremarkable with bits of earthiness and fuel. It's stronger cerebrally than the GDP with a bit of a body warming effect that dwindles rather quickly. Head high sticks around for a while. Overall 6/10.
