I just recently planted some seeds (a few inside and a few outside) I've smoked for years but just recently got interested in growing. I'm kinda jumping in feet first with no idea really of how to properly take care of my sprouts except for sunlight and watering. any tips are appreciated and valued

Yes welcome to the forum. This can be a very addictive hobby. Not the using part but the growing part. Growing plants is my favorite thing to do and the more I do it the more I love it. When I get my seed catalogs, look online at seeds and finally order it's like Christmas Morning when they arrive. Doesnt matter what kind of seeds. Can be anything from Tomatoes to Angel Trumpets and of course Cannabis seeds. Hopefully you will find it as enjoyable as the rest of us.
To answer your question just follow the link Mr. Furley gave you and read through the site. You will do great if you follow the advice on the site. If you have questions about something specific someone here should be able to help.
Enjoy your new found hobby. You may win the race, but you pass all the best things in life on the way.

Welcome...I really agree with what Spidermite says.... addictive! Watching the progress of your work is inspiring. By reading through the GWE website you will gain substantial advantages in your first attempt that will really put you over that hill your think you’re looking at...then it’s a great down hill slide. Kinda like riding a bicycle up a hill and then coasting down the other side for a very long breezy ride. I only remember that bicycle stuff from when I was a whole lot younger
when you have questions.... this group will happily supply the best answers available
By the way, your timing is terrific...as your seedlings develop, you’re in a position to gain step by step advantages
