    pin headed plants

I am wondering if any other growers have experienced this problem. I had four good orders from Seedsman, but then decided to order something a bit more exotic. A strain with the moniker "Flower Bomb Kush" attracted my attention. Only two of the three seeds germinated, but nothing developed after the initial cotyledons. They remained in this dwarfed stage throughout their very short lives. In the past I have had 100% germination and no problem like this ever appearing. Seedsman did replace the seeds with another strain of their own, but of course were of a lesser value. My next order from Seedsman never arrived disappearing into the ether. Since I did not pay the extra stealth fee I lost my money completely. I was more than a bit upset and closed my account with Seedsman. Has anyone had an occurrence of the pin headed plant, and what could have been the cause? Something in the feminizing process, or just old seeds?

Well this is disheartening news. I am awaiting my Bubblegum Autos from Seedsman as we speak. I did pay for the stealth shipping. They should be here within the next few days. I'm not ready to plant them though, and when I do I'm only doing 2 to start.

Anyone else buy from Seedsman? Were you happy with their seeds?

Their Blueberry and Jack Herer seeds are very good. I will miss them. No problem for four orders, but then strange happenings. I suppose it could be my flakey post office giving away my expensive seeds.

No experience w/ Seedsman but the one time I tried to germinate a few of the Nirvana freebies I did have some that never got past that initial sprout stage, never grew any leaves.

Sorry to hear of your negative Seedsman experience. My very first seed order came from them, and all so far have germinated and grown well. Except for the 3 free seeds, none of which were viable. I've switched to Nirvana (haven't tried the 10 freebies yet), but I loved their customer service and speedy delivery. Good luck in the future! 🌱

I've had great experience with Seedsman and Nirvana both for over 6 years now, I'm so sad to here that and glad to hear at least your first four orders went well Seedsman's seeds are only as good as the breeder who provides them, since they are a seed source not a breeder, and I'm just wondering how long has it been since they sent you replacements? Even though it can take as little as a week, sometimes they get lost in the mail and take as long as six! Nirvana's strains are always what they tell you they will be, which is my favorite thing about them, but I've never tried growing their mixed freebies before.

Starramus I highly recommend you contact Seedsman and tell them exactly what you just said here. I've had nothing but great support from them when I've contacted them in the past! Same thing with you D-TrainCA! Nirvana is extremely nice, I'm sure they'll want to make things right for you if you tell them what happened!

Ive placed an order with Nirvana last Friday, and Yesterday morning I received an email saying they shipped my order, so we'll see how that goes.. I ordered a seed pack with 4 different indica feminized seeds, and of course the 10 freebies.. they've been great thus far, so hoping for continuation! I'm sorry this happened to you as well 😞

Considering the circumstances of ordering contraband into the country, I guess we are very lucky to get them at all. Our order from Nirvana came quickly. I'm sure my order from Seedsman will be here soon. Just hearing one person's bad experience doesn't mean they are unreliable.

Nebula, The mystery of my missing seeds has been solved some 7 months later. I received the packet Seedsman had mailed just yesterday December 20th. The packet however was minus the seeds. Instead I found enclosed a form from US Customs stating that they had confiscated and destroyed my seeds. So I am updating this thread to inform any prospective buyers that Seedsman was not at fault, but US Customs was the criminal in this matter. Seedsman is batting 100% if that is the correct nomenclature. Three thumbs up if I had them.

No government will give you freedom only take it away.

                      Regards and clear skies,

I'm glad to hear the mystery was solved! I've had some really weird experiences with customs since I started ordering seeds. I've had a package show up almost 2 months later, completely unharmed, while a replacement pack that was sent in the meantime got to me in just a week. Where were those seeds for those 2 months?Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to follow a package through it's "life" from overseas to here

Hi starramus. I have grown two Flower Bomb Kushes and mine were fine from the start to finish. Very nice buzz and smells like a field of flowers. No kidding, nothing else like it except maybe Strawberry Blue. I alternate those two every other year. My Strawberry Blue didn't smell like strawberries this year, I was disappointed. Down to my last ounce of Flower Bomb, been saving it for special occasions. Friends go crazy over it. I think my FBK came from Herbie's. I've never bought from Seedsman, but the seeds should be the same. Sorry they didn't grow for you, try one again sometime. It's one of my favorites.

Hiya Sticky, Good to hear that I picked a winner with the Flower Bomb Kush. It was a winner of some cannabis cup in the past. If only I could get some viable seeds.

My package must have been in the Twilight Zone for 7 months. Unbelievable, and you don't know who to blame. However Ruth in customer service at Seedsman has been oh so so nice after I informed her of what had occurred. She even has issued a discount voucher for my next order. Nice people at Seedsman. I wonder if the customs officer has harvested my seeds yet???
