    12and12

My plants will have been on 12an12 for around 5 weeks, and I have to go away for 2 nights and they will be left in the garden! Will this have any adverse effects? Thanks

Why can't you leave them inside rather than disrupting the light cycle? If watering is the problem just give them a little extra. There is also the possibility of someone stealing your precious plants.

They live outside, and I put them in the shed at night! But I won't be here to do so for 2 night.

Maybe a friendly neighbor to baby sit, and move them. Doubtful they will re-veg in 48 hours if you have no other means.

No one I would trust, not that they would steel them, but probably forget lol. There in pots and would be in a plastic green house!

I'd just leave them in the dark.

Would leaving them in the dark be better than leaving them in the light?.

If you are in flower and up the light cycle it can cause the plants to go Herm or start the revegging process. In nature plants get cloudy day, so leaving them in the dark would be a better option IMO. Could you hook up a timer with a small light in the shed to keep the day cycle on schedule?

I have a light, it wouldn't cover them all , but it would give them a bit

Keeping them on a regular schedule with the lower light verses changing their schedule would be better in my opinion.
                Good luck

I agree with Mr.furley. At this point they can tolerate lower levels of light better, because it mimics fall pre-harvest conditions. Much better to avoid interruption of dark period.
