bananas ???

Hi Dav, It doesn't look like nanners to me: just the outside of the calyx that the pistils are coming out of.

There's like this little pod thing made up of 5 bracts, or leaf-like structures that contain all the "innards" of the bud.

Nothing to worry about from your pictures, here is a genetic hermaphrodite with both male and female sex.
This plant self pollinated and made tons of seed

This plant pushed out "nanners" but had no seeds this is a Environmental banana.
